Wedding of Walter & Irma Jacobsohn

Wedding of Walter and Irma (Samenfeld) Jacobsohn
This is the wedding photo of my aunt and uncle. February 7, 1937. Standing to the right of my aunt is my dad, Erich Samenfeld, seated in front of them is my Oma Dina Samenfeld, and to the left of my Oma is Uncle Walter’s mother, Johanna Jacobsohn, on the far right in this photo is my uncle’s brother, Hans Jacobsohn. I have been informed as to the identification of 5 of the other people in this picture. In the back row, second and third from the left next to my father, are Julius Heine and Martha (Weidenbaum) Heine who lived nearby in Rahden. Standing between my Uncle Walter and his brother Hans is Erich Weidenbaum, Martha’s brother. Seated on Oma Dina’s right side is Moritz Ginsberg who was a cattle dealer in Rahden, and he is also Marha Heine’s uncle. Sitting on the left side of Johanna Jacobsohn is Max Lazarus who was a teacher and cantor in Lübbecke. He was also responsible as the rabbi in Lavelsloh.
