Riebeckplatz
This view looks down Franckestrasse where my mother lived. The Pfifferling’s building is about a half block down on the left.
The caption for the photo states that this was the place where Albert Pfifferling was killed.
Please see the entry for Albert Pfifferling on the main page. Also, see under his brother, Hans Pfifferling, in the Photo Album section.

Riebeckplatz
This postcard was sent to my grandparents in April 1940, which would be 8 months after coming to Milwaukee, WI.
The view from the Riebeckplatz looks down the street, Frankestrasse, where they lived.
This is also where Opa’s nephew, Albert Pfifferling, was shot to death in 1919

Marktplatz & Roter Turm
The tower was damaged in the war has since been reconstructed.
